Using the calculator to choose your options
Each product on The Online Printer has its own calculator that lets you choose your options and get an instant price — without needing to contact us first.
Changing the quantity and retrieving a price
The calculator shows a sample configuration with a price. For example: "Print 25 single sided traditional sized greeting cards on a 300gsm coated stock without any lamination — $68.75 excl. GST."
When you change the quantity (or any other option), the price updates automatically to reflect your new selection.
Product specific options
Different product types have their own set of options in their calculators. For instance, business cards let you select size, stock weight and lamination — while brochures include folding options. Each calculator is tailored to that particular product.
Getting a discount for multiple artwork variations
If you want to print multiple different designs in the same print run (e.g. 500 flyers across 3 different designs), you can select the number of artwork variations. There is a small additional charge per variation to cover the setup cost. See Artwork Variations in the glossary for more detail.
Sharing or saving a link
Once you have configured your product exactly as you want it, you can share or save the link. The URL in your browser reflects your current selections, so you can bookmark it or share it with a colleague for reference.
Next step
When you're happy with your configuration and price, click Next to proceed. You'll then be asked to either create your artwork online or supply your own print-ready PDF.
